EIT Food reveals every €1 invested in its agri-food innovation projects generates €21.50 return over 15 years

A new report commissioned by EIT Food reveals that after a period of 15 years, €21.50 will be generated for every €1 invested in the EIT Food Innovation initiatives. The independent impact assessment considers the impact of EIT Food’s funding of 252 innovation projects between 2018 and 2024.
The report also offers an initial benchmark into the carbon savings attributable after a 15-year period at 1.2 million CO2-eq (tonnes), and the consumer health impact mitigated at €512 million.
